On July 7th the love of my life died unexpectedly. He was suffering from a Glioblastoma what was diagnosed in Oct. 05. The tumor was found early and treatment was going well. Luckily he was in pretty good shape through the whole treatment and never lost too much of his spirit or energy. On July 7th he was found unconcious in his bed, was airlifted to the hospital and died 20 minutes after arrival. He had a massive stroke most likely due to the chemo treatment.
I feel so lonely and lost! I can't even imagine life will go on some day.

Jutta, I'm so sorry to hear of your sad loss. It must have been a terrible shock to you, especially as his treatment had been going well. I can only sympathise as unfortunately there is nothing I can say that would help to take the pain away. I too recently lost someone I cared about very much and I have to keep reminding myself from previous experience of loss that you have to keep on through the pain and in time it eases or maybe I should say you learn to live with it. I hope you have good friends or family to help and support you through this sad time.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I lost my love on Feb. 24th. I still go one day at a time. If you have offers from family and friends for dinner, going shopping, anything to get out of the house take it. I have alot of friends making sure that I am not alone too much. I have to force myself to go alot of the time but once out I feel a bit better. Expect to cry over nothing and for no reason at all that you know of. It will happen many times, and it is normal. I wish you the best. Above all you must take care of yourself, because your love would never have wanted you to make yourself ill. He loved you too much. Try to imagine what he would have said to you over some of the things that you are facing. God Bless you.
