i preformed unprotected oral sex on my boyfriend while i had a cold sore. neither of us were aware that it can also cause genital herpes at the time until i mentioned it to a friend. what are the chances that he will get genital herpes?!?!?! please help asap

There are no guarantees, but if there was an actual cold sore on your lip, the chances can be quite good. The problem with herpes is that some people will get some form of visible sign in days, weeks, months, while others will get no visible signs what so ever. Don't rely on condoms for protection against herpes as loads of people have gotten herpes even with using a condom.
As for your boy friend, blood tests for herpes this early are quite useless. He needs to wait roughly 6 - 8 weeks prior to a blood test being conducted. Having a blood test too early can result in a false negative.
