my husband broke his pinkie toe. He is arguing with my on what type of doctor he needs to see. Does anyone know if he would need to see a podiatrist or an orthpedic?

I would see an ortho...broken bones call for an ortho...but all he's going to do is pull it into place and tape it to the next toe. But it would be good to have an xray in case he did other damage.

ditto. I have done each one twice - they just say wear stiff soled shoes and tape to next toe. Everything else ok or does another area hurt too?

a general physician would do the same thing, you don't need to go see a specialist (for a larger bone it would be advised to see a specialist maybe).. the bone starts to heal right away though so if he didn't go see someone within a day or two, there won't be much the doctor can do.
