I think it was done wrong. Ok the story goes like this...I had some blood work done 3 days ago, and while the nurse was drawing she had a hard time getting the vein to work or something. She strarted moving the needle around in my vein  this hurt like heck. So she finally got through, but here I am now 3 days later and my arm hurts like heck and it is kinda numb it feels like a nerve is pinched or something. I called them they said she would call back but she never did. There is no swelling, no bruising, no bleeding just pain, soreness, numbness in my hand and arm. And I have had blood work done plenty of times never have I been this messed up afterwards. Does anyone know what the problem might be?

the nurse did the same thing to me almost two weeks ago. My vein kept moving on her and she poked around a bunch. It hurt like you described (although I didn't have the numbness.. she may have poked a nerve in your case). The bruise however didn't show up until several days later, so you still may get a bruise. (don't know why it was delayed) I would ice the area and give it a few more days, it may heal itself up on it's own.
