I had my consult with him today for a primary rhino, and I have to say i was very impressed. Spent a lot of time with me, digital imaging to how i liked it, a whole book of before and afters, and said to think about it and come back for a second consult (free) if I think i want to proceed with surgery. Overall very comforting and seemingly conservative in a good way. Doesnt wanna change the whole face, just perfect the nose. Anyone have any info on him?? If you have met with him, had surgery, or know anyone who has, please reply. I met with Aston and didnt like him, and am scheduled to meet Tabbal in a week. Thanks!

I had my primary (and only) rhino done about 3 and a half months ago, i meet with 5 surgeons on Long Island and actaully had a consult scheudled with Pearlman, from stories have heard, he seems to do great work and all the pictures i have seem look nothing less then perfect!!! Tabbal is also very known for rhino.........

i went with Dr. Funt in Woodmere, LI (and ended up canceling my appt. with Pearlman)and could not be happier, the whole process, healing, went excellent for me....it is something i would do a thousand times over and worth every penny!!!....good luck in your search!!

Hi Sarah,

I've never met Dr. Pearlman, but I've contemplated consulting him about chin implant. You mentioned digital imaging. I assume that he took the picture of you and modified the picture on his computer to show you what you would look like post-surgery. Did he give you the picture(s) to bring home so that you can carefully analyze it? Did you happen to ask him if he can email you your picture(s)? I wonder if I can bring a jump drive to his consultation so that he can give me a copy of my picture because I want to morph the picture myself too to see how I would look differently.

Would you mind telling what the consultation cost was? How long was the consultation? How about the cost of the actual surgery?

Thanks a lot.

I've heard good things about this PS. I heard he doesn't rush through surgeries and spends adequate time with his patients to go over the procedure, costs, and expectations. My doctor in Col., OH didn't do any of those things. He rushed through my surgery (took him only 30 minutes for rhino and chin implant!) and permanantely ruined my nose and chin. I have visited a lot of doctors throughout the country over the last few years to have the botched surgery fixed but have been repeatedly told that Dr. Sullivin's mistakes were so bad that i'm going to need bone removed from my hip to fix my nose and that my chin will never look good due to the bone that Sullivin chiseled away from my jaw. I'm going to seriously consider Dr. Pearlman when I get the money saved up have the corrective surgery, but since it's going to cost me close to $20,000 to have the corrective surgery completed, it'll be a while. Best wishes on whatever decision you make!

oneguy, Dr. Pearlman's consult fee is $250...which i believe is applyed to surgery if you decide to go with him........for range on price, rhinos can vary almost most then any surgery, it really depends what you are looking for and what you are starting with....but for a ball park price...i believe primaries are in the range of 10,000 - 15,000.....revisions, i would say 15,000+

ive even heard of people paying 30,000 for a revision with other doctors.........unbelieve, right

I scheduled a consult with him but did not go because of the price 10,000+ but I scheduled one with Dr. Robert Glasgold of the glasgold group in NJ. Has surgery a couple of days ago and I have not seen the final results but I am very happy. He listened to me. I know I will be happy when I see the results. with Pearlman you are paying for the name and the surgery. In a couple of years people will be paying for the glasgold name + surgery so I am glad i got it done with them now at 5000 which is a bargain considering you are getting hollywood quality work.
