Hi guys, met a new partner for a couple of weeks (girl - i am a male), always used a condom whenever insertation took place apart from once for about 10 seconds, though oral we never used.

About a week after I left her i started having extremely painful urination. This lasted around 7 - 10 days, whenever i urinated it was like a very painful burning sensation in the head of my penis. Whenever i ejaculated i also had this pain there at the head of my penis. However after this time the pain went away so i have not seen a doctor about it.

Questions - first, does the fact that the painful urinatin stopped mean that this was not an STD that I contracted and instead a urinary tract infection? Or does it mean that it was a STD that went on to a further stage? What can i make of the fact that the pain did stop after a week with no medication used. Also i had an eye infection at the time - could this be related. Though i had no other symptoms of stds like white discharge or painful sores on my penis

Lastly at the moment I believe that i have swollen glands and am worried about HIV from another encouter. Could an STD such as gonorhea or chylmidia (forgive my spelling) left untreated be a cause of swollen glands? Is this possible or ever been heard of?

Thank you for your time reading and response!!
