I am just thrilled to be back on Forteo as Eli-Lilly has approved me until the end of the year as my insurance won't cover drug. I have been off Forteo since May. Until then, I had been taking it for 14 months with great results. My question is - for the past few days, since I re-started, I have felt really strange, my arms feel heavy - no pain or anything, I feel very tired and not myself. I know these are not the normal side effects and I had no side effects when I started the first time. I did not take Forteo last night and I feel back to normal today. Going to try it again tonight and see. Has anyone else had anything close to this??? It does not even sound like an elevated calcium side effect as that is something that can happen in the first few hours after injection. I know there is probably no good answer for this but just wondering!!!
