hi everyone,
ive been on lithium for about 2 months now. ive often spoken to other people on here who have experienced hormonal disruptions on their meds, ie, changes to cycle or breast pain etc. Ive experienced both of these when ive been on anti depressants, but now im just on lithium ive actually just missed my period completely and wondered if this has happened to anyone else who has been taking meds, specifically lithium? This is my 1st time on lithium so im not really sure what to expect. I was due while i was on holiday but nothings happened. Ive also had no PMS symptoms such as breast pain etc which i always get. i just dont feel like my period is due atall!
its really strange as this has never happened to me before, i always get PMS symptoms and am rarely even late. i had my period at its normal time last month but was on a lower dose of lithium then so am wondering if the increased dose has disrupted things.can anyone else relate to this?
