View Full Version : White and yellow phlegm, no cough, no fever, head feels woozy and congested

I have white and yellow colored phlegm for the past 4 to 5 days but have no fever or cough. My main complaint is that my head feels very woozy and congested (with phlegm). I also feel there's a lot of phlegm up my nose/throat but I can't get them out. I sneeze about 3 to 4 times a day only. I'm taking an expectorant capsule twice a day, but it doesn't seem to be helping. Does the yellowish phlegm mean I have an infection? I have a six-month-old baby and sleep beside her at night. I also take care of her and play with her when my wife is out. Would it be safer if I stay away from her for the meantime? I'm afraid I might be contagious or something. Also, I'm not sure if this is just an allergy or if I'm really sick. I used to have brochitis and also bronchial asthma. But with the symtoms I have now, I'm not sure what it is. Should I go to the doctor? Thank you very much for your help. Best regards!
