Can someone please help?
Do the symptoms of chlamydia and gonnorhea dissapear and then reappear say two months later?
Would the vaginal itching be harsh?
Would the discharge be thick and creamy like cottage cheese with very little smell (almost odourless)
There is no pain upon urination.
Can someone please offer any advice as to what this could be?
Thank you

dear very worried
The discharge for gc or chlymdia is usually very thick, greenish and foul smelling. Typically the symptoms don't come and go, they just get worse. If you have bv (bacterial vaginosis) you would have a fishy smelling, thinner discharge with a silvery/white mucusy discharge. And of course there is trich, which typically produces a foul smelling yellowish dishcharge. All of the above require very specific antibiotic treatment and should be evaluated by a professional. You need to not wait either, it can effect overall furtility in the future.

The symptoms you've described are text-book for a yeast infection (candida, thrush) An odourless discharge with a cottage cheese consitancy is exactly what you would expect from a yeast infection, as is the itching etc. I would still vist your doctor if you are anxious and/or have had unprotected sex, but I suspect what you have is a yeast infection. It is easily treatable and you can get creams/tablets/pessaries over the counter.

Hi, I agree with Kath, what you are describing are the symptoms of vaginal thrush.
