Started taking Nexium two days ago My hubby said it would take 24 hrs to get into my system.So far I've taken it at 7oclock in the evening and so far no heartburn.I've a guestion I told my Dr I'd try it but I didn't want to rely on it all the time.She said to give it a try since I had goten the heartburn almost every day.I have alligeries to and she said they could be coinsiding with each other but that the Nexium would heal the heartburn.Has anyone been on Nexium just for awhile and not use it for a long time?

Great stuff. When you use it, you will have no heart burn or stomach acid. It is not a cure, think of it as an antacid. It should start working wiyhin two to three hours. Good Luck.

I just started using Nexium about 5 days ago, because a recent endoscopy showed I have serious gastritis and am inflammed all the way down my esophagus. So far I don't see any big change, I'm still having all my usual symptoms, though the Nexium seems to have taken the edge off my extreme hunger a little bit.
