im not sure if this is the right board, but maybe somone can help me.
lately i have noticed that the area around my bum is perticularly sore when i clean up down there, like i have a cut or something. then the other day, i have noticed some blood in the toilet, and even more in the paper.. i was thinking i may have a tear or cut in that area/bowels, but how would it heal on its own, since that area is so soft?

could possibly be hemmoroids.. I know sometimes they can bleed. You should see a doctor about this. Good luck.

It sure sounds like hemmorhoids (enlarged and brittle veins in the area). No big deal. The doctor will probably give you Preparation H. They can clear up by themselves sometimes, but it's better if you see a doctor. It's routine stuff.
