Im going to get right to it. First off yesterday I decided to take some Alive because I felt a weak head ace. So i took 2 pills out of the bottle of Alive in my parents room. Then today i took 1 more because i havent ate all day and didn't wnat to get an head ace. I JUST notice that the pills weren't all the same(some had letters and were different sizes).. I asked my mother what were they and she said some anti-biotics and to not take them. i told her i took 3. The right side of my neck has been hurting a little for the past few hours but i thought it was just a normal neck pain. Is this a side-effect?
Is this a serious issue?
Should we call the doctor?

First of all before takiing any medicine you should read the bottle ...even if it says headachemedicine on it ..just so you can be sure ....it is NEVER advised to take someone else medication even if you have the same symptoms as the person the doasage and instructions on how to0 take them might be differnt since each person is differnrt in there body make up ..And yes you should see a doctor if possible to help you out ....

You are 100% correct...I just picked up the bottle and took them because any prescribed medicne in the house is in those special bottles that the doctor gives you. But still it is my faught. My mother just told me that the 2 I took is for SERIOUS pain and the long 1 i took today was to fight of infection when she had a collin infection. She said tomorrow she will call the doctor.

It is always safe to check with the doctor. Personally I do not think you have anything to worry about

if you ever have problems like that, the quickest and easiest thing to do also is call poison control. They have all that information as to side effects as well if you need to go to the ER or not. It is easier to get through to them then the doc sometimes (middle of the night or whatever). They will also tell you if you need to vomit or whatever...hth
