hm,

Well for the last 3 years ive had tingling and moving vibrations and feelings in my whole body all day every day. When I say whole I mean WHOLE. Just sitting here still I can feel the strong tingling and moving feelings going up through my arms and in my head and in my legs all at once. no breaks or anything..just constant..i told my acupuncturist about it and stuff..she didnt really say what she thought it was..

sounds like a nerve thing to me.. maybe a pinched nerve in your spine or neck maybe? just a guess.

Sounds like nerves to me too. Could try r-alpha lipoic acid for nerve regeneration, and l-glutamine powder for tissue repair. It would be best to get lab tests by an orthomolecular M.D. The Orthomolecular Society can mail you a list of doctors in your city.

I got blood tests done 4 months ago after I told my doctor about it. All came back normal. I asked my acupuncturist about it today and she said its one of those things you scratch your head about. Shes hoping when we get all these imbalances straightened out and my anxiety disorder, itll help.

What about anxiety disorder? Ive talked to a lot of people whoe say they had these feelings and that they were from hypochrondria..

fibromyalga? ugh. freak it

When you're anxious and have an anxiety disorder everything scares you, you become paranoid at lots of things most people aren't scared of simply because your mind is overactive in thinking about danger. Hypochondria is just an unrealistic fear of getting sick or physical problems. When you're anxious you also go looking for things that may or maynot be wrong with you and that can make you worse because it's a never ending cycle. You become overly aware of things like rining ears, that funny feeling in your hands, eyes, stomach, back etc.. and concentrating on these feelings can even magnify them more than they are. Having said that when you're stressed and anxious many regulatory systems in your body get thrown off and that can cause all sorts of real symptoms not just imagined. Every doctor will acknowledge that stress hormones can age a person prematurely, cause insomnia, depression, high blood pressure etc.. so the main thing to do is make sure all the blood tests come out fine and make sure it's not a nerve problem. Then if they really can't find anything really wrong then you should stop chasing your symptoms. If it's really just anxiety and stress then change your diet to something more healthy and doesn't have too much sugars. Excercise alot to burn off those stress hormones, take multivitamins, take regular doses of fish oil and yes maybe even see acupuncturists or massage therapists to help you along your healing process and help you body do what it's supposed to and bring you back in balance. That's how i did it now I'm mostly all symptom free. Good luck.

I would get your spine checked by a chiropractor and also have testing for parasites.

kevinnader, Are the tingling and vibration feelings painful in any way such as the way a pinched nerve might feel? (I know you've already responded to the "pinched nerve" suggestion, but I'm just trying to get an idea here as to what it feels like).

Sometimes the "chi" life force energy that you asked about in another thread will cause those type feelings that you mentioned. Your accupuncturist is trying to get this same energy to move (get unblocked) by sticking the needles in you. I knew someone who had those feelings quite often. Its kind of unusual to feel the energy moving all the time though, but that doesn't mean that its not possible. I experienced this movement of "chi" energy in a very profound way one time when I was meditating. It was actually painful for the first couple of seconds when it was unblocking in my upper chest/spine area, but after that the strong, water fountain like sensation upwards into my head was very calming and pleasant.

no no. these strong and overtaking feelings/vibrations/tingling were long before the acupuncture treatments. They are not painful in any way. im about ready to seek out a neurologist. some people say its from my imbalance of anxiety but I duno..

After rereading my last post I can see where you misunderstood what I was saying. An accupuncturist is not needed in order for you to feel the "chi" energy moving but they CAN facilitate the process. I've never been to one, nor have the other people I was referring to. I'm curious as to what your accupuncturist would say if you mentioned the possibility of it being "chi" energy that you've been feeling over the last few years.

What type of chiropractic medicine does your chiropractor practice? I know this sounds funny but until a year ago I didn't know there was a difference. You may want to find out if your chiropractor practices the gonstead method. I go to a chiropractor now that practices this method and I am having better results than my last chiropractor that didn't practice the gonstead method.

I am wondering now if this could be a body wide infection of microscopic mites and parasites (under the skin). Does the tingling moving sensation get worse at night? They tend to migrate around more in the dark.

Some people theorize that because a few hundred years ago people ate much larger amounts of salt than today they had more protection from these invaders. Due to the curing and preserving of foods back then, they were consuming around 20 grams of salt a day. This would have a strong bacteriosidal effect against germs. Today we are told to restrict salt, maybe not a good choice. You could try the salt-vitamin C protocol that the Lyme Disease board discusses. Worth a try. The practicioners of orthomolecular medicine therapy always say "When in doubt, use vitamin C.

The people who came up with salt-C protocol are not doctors or scientists, just a family that was frustrated with the lack of effective treatment for lyme disease and the lack of interest from doctors to help. They did intensive research on their own and put their findings on the web for all to learn from free of charge, never wrote a book to make money. It turns out that lyme can be transfered by mosquitoes, mites and fleas too, not just ticks. And many other bacteria and parasites are transfered along with the disease.
