Hi, Can anyone tell me what to do for feet that swell very bad. I had a back fusion three months ago and just went back to work this week. My feet are swelling very badly during the day at work. They go down somewhat during the night while in bed, but by lunchtime the next day, all swollen up. I have been diagnosed with a bone spur and really bad arithritis in my feet, but can't take NSAI'S due to back fusion. Thanks.

Hi, I too have arthritis in my feet. Elevate your feet at every opportunity. If you work at a desk, prop them up if at all possible. Hope all works out for you and your fusion, hope these suggestions help too. :)

If you do not have any circulation problems with your feet or leg, think about getting support stockings to wear. I wear a knee high one on my one leg because of a swelling issue during the day. Something to explore and even ask your Dr. is it is okay.
