My ds is 6.5 months and is teething. Today he has slept SO much more than he usually does. Is this normal? Thanks so much.

I have no idea, but my daughter is teething right now too. She's 4 months old, but I can't get her to sleep at all, she's so miserable.

Let's commiserate together... :p

It's funny cause his first bottom tooth he started getting a couple weeks ago he would not sleep at all! Now he is getting his second tooth and he is taking much longer naps. But he was back to doing the NOT sleeping thing again last night. Poor babies!

My DD's first tooth broke the gum surface just 2 days ago (she's 10½ months) and the only thing I'm noticing is it's taking a little longer for her to settle at bedtime...about 20 mins before she falls asleep instead of the normal 5-10 mins. Other than that...she's not eating differently, she's not sleeping any less or more. I'm not even sure if her night routine is even because of the teeth, to be honest with you.

Hopefully, everything will go smoothly.

I wish I would have slept those few days while he slept alot cause now he is hardly sleeping at night! I am tired.

RVH- to answer your question about eating. I did notice that with ds first tooth. He wanted to eat all the time but then would hardly eat. It was the same thing wether he was nursing or eating solids. It's like he was hungry but then would fuss while he ate and just stop. I guess it is because they have sore gums. poor babies!
