Hello, all. I'm male, 11% body fat, 150 lbs, 5'7''. I was jsut wondering why I'm unable to lose weight. For the past week, this has been clsoe to what i eat every day. I've been "dieting" since may. I was hoping for some advice. I'm just trying to lower my body fat, as I don't care about how much I weigh.

8:00: 1 cup egg whites, 6 tbsp ketchup, 1 cup cooked with virgin olive oil onions, vitamin a, e, b complex, and centrum multi

11:30: 1 Light N Fit Yogurt

12:30: 5-6 ounces grilled chicken, 6 tbsp ketchup, about 50 grapes

4:30: 1 cup of Blueberries, blackberries, raspberries combined

6:30: 6-8 Grilled chicken, 6 tbsp ketchup, salad, broccoli

8:30: picking :( usually includes more grapes, fruit, pieces of deli chicken, random oats, etc, and can go up to about 400 calories.

In all I eat from 1600-2000 calories a day. I run and take karate on alternate days. And since it's summer, I tend to be mostly active. Apparently, I burn off close to 3000 calories, if not more, a day. It seems I have close to a 1,000 calories deficit. But I don't see any changes... at all. So something is wrong. :/ And being beach season,...you get the point. So if anyone has any advice on how to lower body fat or any flaws in my dieting (aside form th epicking at the end of the day), please please tell me :) thanks all!

if your burning that many cals, you need to eat more!!! like everyone else is saying, if you don't eat enough, your body will hold onto every fat cell in your body, and keep it, cuz it thinks your starving. A womens diet is 1400-16-- cals. your a man, whose body is more muscular and men need more cals then women even if your trying to loose weight.

Also, where are the whole grains in your diet??? you need then to aid in weight loss, and to help you feel fuller so you don't over eat!!!!!
don't forget fat, your body need fat to run as well, it eat a 40, 30, 30 diet, and I've lost 60 lbs 3 years ago, and have maintained since, I'm fit, strong and eat almost what i want on the 40, 30, 30 plan. you'll get nowhere fast if you don't tweak your diet.
