Well I usually eat very very healthy. I have a lot of veggies to eat and stuff. My parents are trying to save money and buying canned veggies rather than raw ones because it's cheaper. They are very very low calorie, low fat and carb they have protein in them and everything. I know people say canned veggies aren't as good as fresh but I really have no choice right now since I am not paying for them! Just wanted to know if this will at all effect me from losing weight because instead of fresh veggies I switched to canned? I don't see how it's possib;e with the low calorie content but still just making sure...

Can they buy frozen? Next to fresh - frozen is best and may be even better than fresh. In the long run frozen is cheaper than canned because you can lets say get a big bag of frozen corn which would probably equal like 10 cans for way cheaper. I don't believe in canned veggies as they are full of preservatives and definitley don't taste the same. I always buy frozen when I buy corn, green beans, etc.

How old are you? If you are old enough why don't you try to make a little garden in your yard and make your own veggies?

Eat all the veggies you want. You won't gain weight from them. Canned veggies may make you feel like you are gaining (they usually have a lot of sodium), but that would just be water retention.
