Has anyone ever tried this tea? A friend had read about it and reccomended it to me, so I ordered some but havent recieved it yet. It is supposed to be great at increasing milk, they have "testimonials" that claim to up some womens milk signifigantly, like from 1oz to 5oz after 2 days of tea!! I am planning on calling my herbologist and Dr to make sure all the ingredients are safe for me to take, but was wondering if anyone else ever heard of this tea?
Thanks!

Just wanted to let you all know my success with this tea! I am thrilled! I am on my 2 day of trying it and am drinking 3-4 glasses a day ( i think it says to drink more though) and have increased from 1oz per breast to at least 2oz per breast. For me, thats a big improvement since Ive been trying EVERYTHING for a long time now. Just wanted to let those of you that are also having milk issues my success with this.

About a week after dd was born, we had a nurse visit us just to check up on both me and her. She brought me several packets of something called Organic Mothers Milk Tea. She told me it was great for building up the milk supply. I haven't had to use it yet (knock), but I've heard others say it works wonders.

Ive used the mothersmilk tea forever and it didnt do much for me. This tea is the only thing thats really helped me. I just pumped again and got twice out what I normally get. Soooo happy!

Hi,

Are you talking about the Breastea that you buy online? If so, I love that stuff. I've used it for awhile on and off. I like the flavors. Plus it's been really good for my supply.

i tried the mothers milk tea also and it did not work for me. my doctor's also put me on, oh now i can't think of the name of it, but it is usually used with stomach disorders, but they have found in some cases that it will increase milk supply. and that didn't work either. Thanks for the info. i had to stop breastfeeding my baby at 3 months because i couldn't increase my milk supply (which is weird, because i breastfeed my 1st baby until he was 16 months and was like a jersey cow)
but i will definately have some breastea on hand when we have our next baby just in case. because nursing is such a bonding experince. not that i didn't bond with my second baby. it's just a special thing that only you can do.
