I posted about my problems with avinza, not being strong enough. I am happy to report that the pm switched me to 60 mg kadian. I am doing much better with this. I still have some b/t, however i feel a great deal better. For anyone else out there having problems with avinza not lasting long enough Kadian is a 12 hour and is a lot better....

My Avinza was not doing the job, but we raised it from 120mg to 180mg and it seems to be doing ok. I have only had BT pain once in the past few days and before that I hurt 24/7.
I am taking the Avinza in 90mg doses. Like 90mg at 8am and 90 mg at 8pm.
This has improved the pain issue for me.
August 8th I go see the surgeon about a morphine implant...or the electronic stimulus implant. I don't know which to get. I just asked that question earlier today on this forum.
Good luck with the kadian. I hope it works out well for you.
