I am a 24 year old female and I have been suffering with headaches that occur on one side of my head (though both sides are affected with them). They are severe in pain and they last 4-7 days. No medicine works, Advil, asprin, Imitrex...nothing. I've also tried massage, which hasn't helped. I also have had some swollen lymph nodes and fatigue. I am at a complete loss as to what to do. The doctors have no idea what is going on. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I get these one sided headaches all the time, for the past 7 years no one could help me. I went to a neurologist, after having an MRI and nothing wrong there, I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, he prescribed Elavil when I go to bed, and 800MG Ibuprofen, this has helped me considerably, I almost feel human again, I will get the headache ocassionally, but after taking Ibuprofen 800mg, it seems to go away. Do you have any other aches or pains? The elavil is for pain and sleep, been taking it now for 6 months and doing well. Hope this helps.
