I was in my 1st year at 6th form (I was 17) and teachers said that bullying shouldn't exist. This one guy in particular took a disliking to me, he made fun ofme, never took me seriously, always gave a stupid remark everytime I asked him something which, in short, is bullying.
The problem is that everyone likes him more than me. I mean I'm social with my friends yet people would choose him over me. He's actually done better in life than me, he's a year above me and I've been told he's about to start his 2nd year (so he must have passed). This makes me depressed because bullies shouldn't get away with it and he's having a good life and I'm still picking up the pieces from when him and 2 of his friends bullied me.
I really don't know what to do.

Ok kid this is what i can tell you i will try my best to help you out. I know how you fell i was made fun of from 1-11grade a long time and i know how you fell and every one like the other person more then they like me!!. I don't know if you are out of school or in college so there is something you can do is talk to someone about this so it doesn't get out of hand and u regret something that you have done to that person fighting with them will probably just make it worst!!!. Talk to a guidance counselor or a social worker at school so they can help you throw this i hope i kind of answer your qustion.

I wonder if everyone has seen his behavior before and they just act like they like him so he doesn't set his sights on them. you know?

You are both what, 17, 18? There is plenty of time for karma or bachi to catch up to him and payback all he has given out. Mean people do not finish first, not in the long run.

Hopefully you aren't in his sights this coming year, but if you are stand tall. Act as if he doesn't impact you. And yeah, talk to a counselor or someone trustworthy.

I had one major instance of bullying in my teenage years - this was from a neo-**** skinhead who heard I was criticizing his views and an appearance he made TV at a little, futile march they did.

I was confronted and assaulted by this guy and one of his friends, thereafter. I believe this was the beginnings of bringing out some of my anxiety, actually (PTSS).

It's part of life that some people are going to gain confidence and status, soley at the expense of sponging it off others, who are better people than them. There ARE bad people in this world.

But, it has been my history of observance that these types do not make it too long. These sorts of traits after high school do not launch you to the Deans List or the Board Room. They land you in jail with felonies. These methods to status are hard to shake for them and continue into adulthood to their detriment.

In my situation, actually.... the guy drowned in a river one night camping out after getting drunk. I'm sad about that, not ever being able to become a better human.
