Hi Paye,
I am a May 06 mommie. My second ds was born May 6th. (His daddies bday) My first turned 5 in May so I don't remember everything from when he was a baby but #2 seems a lot more high maintenence. But I'm not complaining (AT ALL) he is so much better than lots of babies I've known and heard about.

another May 06 new mommy here! my first DS was born May 8, I'm pretty much stressed to the max and drained of all resources right now (my husband is in Iraq) but its still wonderful... the girst giggles and 'conversations' are worth everything!

I'm also a May momma. dd was born on the 25th and she is my first, my little princess. So far, she sleeps and feeds very well. I love her to death. I had such a hard time being pregnant, but labor and motherhood has been really easy. She's making it very easy for me to say yes to having another baby soon.

Hi ladies! I knew there had to be some other May mommies out there! Ds was born May 3. He is our first and a good baby so far! I am amazed at how much work babies are though, but worth every bit! I think I always glamorized having a baby and then once you go through it, it's a little tougher than you think it will be. I agree though, all of those smiles and giggles make it so much fun! I am loving seeing his little personality start to come out! I'm starting back to work soon and am really struggling with the thought of leaving him everyday!

emilynt85 ~ how stressful for you! I can't imagine not having dh's help plus having to worry about him day and night! My thoughts and prays are with you and your family for a safe return of your husband!

How are everyone's little angels sleeping at night? Ds was doing really well there for a while. But this last week or so he has not been sleeping well and getting up quite a bit at night. Also, the first two weeks home we could not get him to sleep in his bassinet and we hadn't gotten a monitor yet to put him in his room, so we would put him in his car seat where he would sleep great! Well we're going on 3 months now and he is still sleeping in his seat next to our bed. This weekend we are going to try to get him to sleep in his crib... cross you fingers, we'll see how that goes. Ds#1 was on a schedule at 3 weeks, sleeping through the night in the bassinet then into his crib after about 4 months. Eating every 4 hours. He was too easy! Now I don't know what to do with this little man... But like you said, the smiles and talks are well worth it all!
