Blood pressure pretty typical at about 128/82 most mornings. But the last several days, having a pulse rate of 120!!

My doctor has referred me to a cardiologist and took blood work for Thyroid and Anemia. I'm only 32 years old, but hypertension and afib run in my family.

Could this be afib? I took my pulse when I first woke up this morning and it seemed to be 104. *** is going on with me???? My appt. with the cardiologist isn't until next week, so I wanted to see if anyone had any ideas?

Hi,

I can't give you any advice, but when I had tachycardia and got it checked out the news wasn't good. I was diagnosed with Dialated Cardiomyopathy with CHF and mitral valve regurgitation. The only sypmtom I had was the increased heart rate, but it was in the 140's.

You really should get it check out. I hope it's nothing but don't take chances with your health. I was only 37 at the time.

Lynne
