I have had gerd off and on for 5 years now. I'm 25 years old. Just recently it has been hitting me pretty hard again. I have been feeling shaky a lot and feel bloated and having a lot of belching. Does anyone else feel shaky like they have to eat all the time? I remember having this symptom before. I wonder what causes it? I'm not taking any meds for it yet. I thought about getting something over the counter just don't know what is best. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks so much

You have any burning or acidy taste come up in your throat.Heartburn or sour stomach?Could be the beginnings of gerd maybe.Try some tums if its not strong enough then maybe otc prilosec.Gerd is a lifetime disease theres a differance between occasional heartburn and gerd. There are surgeries for gerd but they are not 100% effective .If you have gerd and havent been on any meds to treat it.Maybe you should think about seeing a gastro doc.You could have damage to your throat which could lead to other problems. You should take your problem seriously and be checked out.Take care.
