:confused:K stone I have read your post and you seem like you know alot about this,
Anyway I went to the doc today after haveing an IVP done Monday everything he said went in one ear and out the other as I was just in shock. from what I understand he says I have Nurmorus Stones But they all Overlie the upper pole of the right kidney Then he went on to say they were more prominennt over the Superior pole???What ever that means?? he says there is nothing else he can do for me and for me to see my family doc to get my pain under control because i should not be in pain and I am in pain about 75% of the time, In the last year it seems like about every other month is a bad one and I am sick and in pain, then it will go away and then hit me like a ton of bricks, He said My family could send me on to a kidney Doctor. He said My body is creating these for some reason. Like I said I just caught bits and Pieces of it. He did say it was a diease. Do you or anyone else for that matter Know anything about this.

I would really appericate any help or advice anyone can Offer.

Your right, Kstone can help you more then I can but one thing you said stood out and I wanted to respond to it. "Everything he said went in one ear and out of the other and I was in shock". I noticed this happens to me and I learned early on that I had to take my husband with me. Once the doctor gives me bad news or I hear something that I do not want to hear, I don't hear anything after that. That's where he come's in because I ask him alot of questions afterwards in the truck.

Yep that is what happened to me, I just thought I would go in and he would say well you have alot of stones here is what we need to do, but instead I got hit with all of that, It was like he could not talk to me Normal he had to use all that Doctor talk I hat when THey do that, I mean I am not Stupid or anything but I just dont understand when they start rambling, I wish they could get on my level and explain instead of using Doctor words.. lol
I called the office when I got hone to see if maybe his nurse could help me out and tell me more about it and when she called she was no help, she was like well what to do want to know you dont already know she would not explain to me anything she was like it is all in the report I gave you, I was like I dont understand these words in the report, Just no help
Maybe my fam Doc can tell me more.

I hope that you get more replies soon. Kstone is real good about getting back with people so I'm sure you'll be hearing from her soon. I hope she is ok.

The best advice that I was given five years ago was to learn all that I could from reputable web sites and good sources. Alot of good information came from those who have been through similar situations before me. I thank God for those people to this day.

This is not an easy situation and I will keep you in my prayers.
