Has anyone taken their babies to Gymboree Play and Music? What is it and what did you think of it? I know there was a thread on this a while back, but I couldn't locate it.

JuniorsMommy929 07-27-2006, 08:58 AM yep me and my son go 3 times a week and i personally find it great! they learn different things depending on there age, everything is padded in the play are, if they mainly work on motor skills, and developmental milestones, my son is 9 months and 4 week, he has been going about a month or a little more, since then, he learned how to walk, clap his hands, climb:rolleyes: but they teach them how to climb down the right way, and he actually does it:wave: it is worth the money in my opinion:D laurabelle1317 07-27-2006, 09:35 AM How much are the classes? Do you pay for each individual classes are a large set of classes? The closest gymboree that offers is almost a half hour away. That's a little far. :( I am going to sign us up at a baby gym in the area though. JuniorsMommy929 07-27-2006, 01:02 PM depending on what you sign up for, we paid 100 at sign up, got $20 off, its origanally 40 for membership and 80 a month for 4 months, but that lets you go as often as you want on any day you can, and the fifth month is free, for just each class its like 15-20 I THINK, not too sure, but its well worth it to me:) Paye 07-27-2006, 01:09 PM Who teaches the classes? Can you take them to just play or do they always have to be in a class? I'll have to check it out and see if there is one near me. I'm sure ds would love it. debating 07-27-2006, 01:49 PM I just discovered their website has a coupon for one free class. I'm going on Tuesday to check it out. JuniorsMommy929 07-28-2006, 08:42 AM yes they have a free preview, and no they dont always have to be in a class, but not bein in the class they dont really learn anything emilyallison 07-28-2006, 12:33 PM I loooove it!!!!!!! I go twice a week. They have different teachers, so try to find the one you like best since they are all different. Ask who their most popular teacher is, usually they are popular for a reason! Its great not just for your babies, but I love it for the mommy friends Ive made there! |
