well come to find out they did a urine test on the baby girl, her liver is barely working:confused: they have her at childrens hospital and she needs a transplant, otherwise she will not make it, but now they are running test on the twins that the couple has to see if any other children have the same problem, This is very sad, she has been at the hospital over a week now and they have yet to find her a liver, i feel so bad for the family

Poor baby girl. My prayers are with them. I pray that everything will fall into place for this little girl to make it.

Okay this is sad but I have to say, why didn't they look into this sooner? You know how hard it is to find a kidney donor for a baby? If they had looked into the weight thing sooner maybe they would have more time.

I can't imagine how it has gone on for 9 months. One green poop from DD an I'm all over finding the cause like white on rice. Strange.

I feel that everyone is so quick to judge these parents without knowing the whole story!! I agree that if my child was not gaining weight, I would be camped out at the doctor's office until I got some answers. But, at 9 months old this child is (well, should be) seeing the ped every 2 months and this is something that the DOCTOR should have been concerned about earlier! For all we know, he's been telling this poor kid's parents that it's normal, and they haven't questioned it because he's a doctor (which happens frighteningly often!). The poor baby. She's in my thoughts.

im not sure about the doctor part, but it seems weird to me all of their children are pretty tiny, they have 4 all together, a set of twins that are 3 years old and they have a 5 year old, I have seen the way the mother talks to these children, practically all babies to me! she is ignorant to them, we had a pool party, the 5 year old got too much water into his mouth and swallowed it and ended up throwin up, in the pool, and my god did this woman scream at him!! she told him he should know better and this and that, i wanted to slap her across her face, idk about anyone else, but throwing up isnt anything anyone can control, even if he could HES 5!!!
