i don't mean to sound gruesome... so im going to try my best to explain this problem...
I don't exactly remember when this all started but i knwo it was awhile ago, probablly about a year ago. Since then i've had... irregular bowle movements... really irregular and they've become a real problem considering i could be anywhere and need to go to the bathroom and if i didn't / couldn't then my stomach would be upset. Again not to sound gruesome but its like diarrhea only not all the time. Sometimes everything is fine and normal, but majority of the time its not.
I haven't changed my diet significantly, or at all that i know of. I went on the birth control pill about a year ago too but i don't knwo if that has any connections. I also started getting consistant headaches around a year ago but the doctors think they are due to sinuses, so i don't knwo if there is any connection there.
Could stress do this? i don't remember being particulary stressed but i read about physical stress problems before...

sorry again and if someone out there could offer any help/advise that would be awesome.

It goes without saying that you need to see your doctor to get a definitive diagnosis, but maybe if you gave some more information you could get some more insight here.

What is the consistency and color of the stool? When you say "irregular", what exactly do you mean? How frequent and how far apart are your bowel movements? Are you on any medications (even OTC) besides oral contraceptives? Have you noticed any blood in your stool (this might be bright red blood or very dark, almost black). Also, how old are you and have you ever been hospitalized for anything before (if so, why)?
