I am very overweight and have not had a period in 4 months which is not all that unusual for me but have had some infrequent brown discharge once in a while. I've also had pain in my left lower back and hip. Yesterday I started with really bad cramps and today I am bleeding heavily along with cramps but the strange thing is I have a lot of bubbles in my urine which I have not noticed before. I am thinking I have PCOS which I'm not sure has anything to do with the bubbles but would explain my absent periods and possible hip/back pain. I am also kind of paranoid about HPV and cervical cancer, I have not had a pap smear in years but just became sexually active 2 years ago. I heard cervical cancer takes years to develop but I am still concerned. Anyway, I just started a new job and my health insurance doesn't kick in for another 60 days. I would like to wait the 60 days to go to the doctor because I'm sure I would need a CT or ultrasound or something to evaluate my condition. I guess I'm wondering if this sounds severe enough to require immediate attention or wait the 60 days and be on the lookout for any other symptoms. Of course I need to go see someone as soon as possible but was wondering if anyone had ever experienced anything similar. Sometimes I really wish I was a man, they never have to deal with all this stuff!!

for years i have wondered why i found it so easy to gain weight when all my friends ate more than me and are very slim then i was diagnosed with pcos and it all fell into place your symptoms do sound like pcos if it is theres not many treatments available and the docs will want to run tests first to find whats best for you i dont take medication despite constant pain because my doctors say i need to lose weight first i would say its best to get checked out as soon as you can to put your mind at rest
