I have pain all the time in my upper stomach right below my breast bone. Does anyone know what it could be? I am on a anti-inflamatary diet. My Homeopathic Practitioner thinks it's my gallbladder. When I eat something or take my vitamins and herbs, it starts up. I hurt so bad right now and I don't know what to do.

"I hurt so bad right now and I don't know what to do."

I don't mean to sound obvious here, but why don't you see a doctor? If you can, see a GI doctor.

Ulcer, gastritis, gallbladder problems, infection, gas, pancreas problems, ... As you can see, upper abdominal pain is vague and can be caused by a number of things. If it hurts that bad, you need to go to a doctor to have some diagnostic tests performed. An ultrasound (quick and simple) would be your first step to see if it might be your gallbladder.
Start by seeing a doctor so you can try pinpointing what you have. Good luck!

Thanks for your advice, everyone!
I take care of my 80 yr old mother and my 61 yr old brother. I don't have much time to take care of myself. I've always been in the best of health. I did have a CT Scan for kidney stones last week. Maybe I can get referred to a specialist by my family doctor!
I have no diarrhea or constipation.
My Homeopathic Practitioner has me on a anti-inflamatary diet because of my stomach problems. I show a lot of stress in my gallbladder and pancreas.
I eat a lot of green veg, some yellow free range chicken breast and fish from the sea. Some fruit. No coffeee, tea, pop or juice. All organic foods.
Thanks Jeanette
