View Full Version : Mucus after diarrhea

In the last year, and for 4 times, I've had a bout of white-yellowish mucus after a liquid diarrhea.

It only happens after a ocassional-one time liquid diarrhea. There are no blood or pain, only a BM with diarrhea followed (in one hour or so) by another BM with mucus only.

¿Is it normal?

It sounds like colitis. Did you eat the same thing every time it happened? You may be intolerant or even allergic to something.

After I eat one or two prunes that happens to me. But the mucous is yellow not white. I think white mucous means an infection.
