I have not posted on this board for a while now. Today I got the call from the doctor and I jumped up and down. My test results for my follow up pap was normal and my body rid the HPV.

A little over two years ago I had dsyplasia, had bad paps, had a colpo, had a leep, margins were not clear, have been going every three months for a pap. All follow up paps came back abnormal with HPV.

This last pap NORMAL NO HPV........WOOOHOOO

I never thought this day would come I am so excited.

I definitely started to get back into shape. I lost ten pounds since my last pap, I have been eating very healthy and just staying positive. I don't know if this helped but i would like to think it did a little.

Good Luck to you all......Those of you out there who are going through what I went through.....just hang tight you will get that normal pap.

I had the pap to follow up on my January LEEP on July 18th and have been a bit nervous waiting for the results.

I never thought this day was going to come. I want to say i had about four abonormal paps after my leep procedure which was in Feb 2005. I kinda told myself well this is something you are going to have to live with for the rest of your life. At least that is how I felt. All of it began in 2004 with abnomalities and colpo's.

You too will get where I am and finally have a sense of relief.

Good for you! Awesome. I am getting ready for my cone in August. Keeping fingers crossed for clear margins!
