I recently weaned my 13 month old son and I have continued to take my leftover prenatal vitamins. Does anyone know if it is safe to take them when your not pregnant or breastfeeding? I know it sounds weird but they make me feel better then regular multivitamins. We are also thinking about TTC in a few months so I thought I minus well stay on them. Any thoughts?

I've been taking prenatal vitamins year round since I got pregnant with my first child 6 years ago. I think the only difference from a regular multi is the amount of folic acid, which if you're ttc soon then you definitely want.

Yeah, extra Folic Acid and Iron. It's good stuff.
