View Full Version : Question re: Exercise in the morning

Hello,

I'm off for the summer and therefore am exercising during the day (this will change when I start working again in September).

My question is this: I stop eating 2 - 3 hours before I go to bed, so I normally don't eat after 9 pm at the latest. I want to go to the gym first thing in the morning (usually 9 am) but I'm so hungry when I wake up. If I eat my normal breakfast I have to wait a couple of hours b/c I run at the gym and I can't run on a full stomach. Do you have any suggestions for me?

Thanks! :)

Don't eat a full breakfast. Have a small snack when you wake up like an egg or a handful of cereal, just enough to kill the hunger but not enough to nauseate you.
