I've been taking aciphex twice a day (am and 5 pm) for months now and have found it to work great. I had to switch ENT's recently because I had an insurance change, and he now has me taking 300 mg of zantac before I go to sleep. Plus on top of that my GP put me on an antibiotic for a UTI. My reflux is out of control now. I quit taking both the zantac and the antibiotic to figure out which is causing it. Here's my question........ does anyone else take 2 ppi's and zantac on top of that? What times of day to you take the pills. I had hoped to never feel like this again. Its back to the drawing board for me. Thanks, Lori

Just curious, and it may seem like a strange question, but have all of you who take 2 ppi a day been diagnosed with lpr, and did the Dr prescribe them? My endo and I thought he was good, never even mentioned that it could be this.

I was prescribed 2 PPI's/day supposedly for an ulcer or gastritis. The endoscopy showed neither after 5 months of taking these. I think I'll begin decreasing the pills, I can't stand the night mares.
