I have a problem with really oily hair. I don't use conditioner everyday and I rinse really well but sometimes my hair will be really greasy even right after I wash it, and I have to wash it everyday or else it looks like I haven't in a week. I've had mild success switching shampoos but after awhile it seems my hair becomes immune to it and it will look oily right after washing again. Is there any solution???

What shampoos have you used?

don't rinse with really hot water.

Could it be that you're using too much shampoo?

My hair is shoulder length and quite thin. I have tried such shampoos as Pert Plus, Herbal Essences, Pantene ProV, some others, and now Dove. I shall try using less, though I don't usually use too much to begin with. Thanks.

Choose ones for oily hair. I have a friend who really likes the dove for coloured/fine hair.

Ones you might like are tressamé, Redken express shampoo or even fructis.

If you're not using too much, then that's probably not it. Rinsing properly will help....as could using white vinegar in warm water poured over and rinsed before you use conditioner. Do you use conditioner? If so, just do so on the ends.
