I got on the scale and have been losing weight. Has anyone else lost weight? Could it be the nexium? i am becomming very afraid.

When I started Nexium 1x per day, my weight was stable. When I began Nexium 2x per day, I gained 50 pounds in 4 months. Then it took me 1 year to lose those 50 pounds with diet and exercise. So I don't know if the Nexium had anything to do with it.

I don't think it's the drugs, I think it's the disease.
I too have lost weight and am not taking any meds right now.
it's just hard to have an appetite --I find only cold cereal, cottage cheese, yogurt, and ice cream :) appeal to me.
you might want to try to supplement your diet with nutrional things; i've heard some people take Ensure..

I've lost about 22 pounds since I have been on Nexium. I've worked for years to lose 5 pounds (OK, not very hard) but after 2 courses of Nexium-I'm losing weight-I can't really explain why.:confused:

Again i agree how can you eat and gain weight on a gerd diet lol..plus when you have daily heartburn or feel sick im not to hungrey..Ive always been skinny but this is outrageous im half of what i was its mostly because of my calorie intake perday..
