hi, i was wondering if i can get any input on this issue
i found it bothersome to have hair...errr... down there so i started shaving and i "slipped" (EEK!!!!) and accidently cut my labia which is larger than the other one, and over a period of a week i continued exercising and didnt notice it actually kept tearing. Now there is a vertical tear about 3/4 an inch where the skin is literally hanging...
I actually spoke to Dr. Alter today from Dr. 90210 and he gave me a price range of labiaplasty (where i am it's $8250) and he said it can partially be paid by insurance.
However i was wondering since i only would need the surgery on one side (there is literally no labia on the otherside that could be fixed anyway), would the price still be the same or half? and for my condition do you think insurance could pay all of it? and just a general suggestion if anyone knows of Dr. Alter's technique which is the "V" cut would really be neccessary, or if i should go to a GYN and have it "amputated" as he put it.
ARGHH!!! and also i dont have a mother-daughtor relationship really and my mom doesn't know this happened and i dont know how to talk to her... can anyone PLEASE help me? :confused:
