You need to go back to your doctor, tell him the meds aren't working and your quality of life is terribly affected. Your doctor should probably refer you to a GI specialist for an endoscopy. If you don't get satisfaction from this doctor, you need a new doctor.

It sounds like the friendly bacteria in your Gastrointestinal tractis out of balance and needs to be re-balanced. It could be a yeast/ candida infection??
There is no test for this because the bacteria are all normally present in your GI tract.
To re-balance the bacteria you could eat a good brand of yogurt, drink kefir and take several different probiotic supplements. Also, the bacteria thrive on sugary foods so you should cut out all sugar from your diet including simple carbohydrates that convert to sugar in your mouth during chewing.
You may even have to go on an anti-candida diet.
I wish you well~~~Harry
