Seeing as though August is tomorrow, I was going to change my weight routine to doing weights every other day, with cardio everyday. I'm going to do the same weight routine everyday and it covers my whole body, top to bottom. Nothing too heavy or too light, but a lot of reps and sets, not a lot of weight.
Is it bad to do weights everyday? I want to give my muscles some extra electricity going into the last half of summer, so would doing them every other morning be optimal? I was doing them just about everyday, but to make them bigger, I was wondering if resting in between days would help.
Thanks!

It is not a good idea to do weights every day. Weight training causes teeny tiny tears in the muscle and your body needs some time to repair them. If you lift every day, you never get a chance to heal and eventually you will start to have fatigue, muscle loss, lowered immune function, lowered metabolism and your health and physique will suffer. Alternating days is a much better idea.

You could do different muscle groups every day - as long as you're not working the same muscles 2 days in a row. This is basically what I do, so I don't have to do really long strenght training workouts. It works for me but do whatever works best for you! :)

Good point. Just don't do full body weights every day. ;)

Doing cardio on off days if okay? I won't lose any muscle doing this? What I do is I go on my exercise bike for 12-15 minutes at rather high intensity because I don't want to burn off all my muscle, is this okay?

I started doing cardio every morning for one hour. This is my week two now.
My plan is after I finish week four, I will start doing Weights 3 times a week.
I do cardio fie times a week and then every second day in the evenings weights.
My aim is to loose weight, so I will do more reps with lighter weights.
