Hello! I have a fiend that I work with who was diagnosised with colon ca a year ago July 3. He did the recommended chemo and has been done with that since Jan, I think. Just last week, he was diagnosed with liver ca that they believe spread from his colon ca. He is young, with two teen children. His first wife died about 6 years ago from a brain tumor. He remarried two years ago this last July. Here is my question! What little things could I and my coworkers do for him while he is receiving his chemo he will start next week? I think that we want to focus on keeping him smiling as much as possible. I completely understand there may not be much of it, but we want to do something!

Sorry to hear that. Really anything that can get his mind off of what is confronting him would help. Take him out to dinner, movie, anything like that. There are stage 4 survivors of colon cancer. All hope is not lost. You could also try the colon cancer board.
