and now, two hours later, I'm feeling very nauseated. I can't believe this is heartburn or IBS as my GP said - it just has to be gallbladder. I can't get in to see my GI until Sept 8th! I guess I'm going to have to very good for another 6 weeks and not eat fatty things. I was just out reading about gallbladders + nausea and read about the possibility of an infected (leading to gangrene) or perforated gallbladder - how common is this? Funny, I just read about the different types of gallbladder disease and symptoms, but I'll be darned if I can remember what to look out for. I only have nausea now, but what should I be on the lookout for as far as this becoming an emergency?
I'm certainly sorry I ate that measely 1.25 oz bag of chips!!

I was that way before I had my gallbladder out. Please, if you get a sonogram and it shows nothing, no stones like mine did, ask for a HIDA scan. I suffered with attacks like yours for years unnecessarily. I had a gallbladder with a low ejection fraction rate...basically not functioning well which caused these symptoms. Too bad you have to wait til September, is there nobody else where you live that you can see?
