for about a year now i've been getting numb feelings in my arms and chest, also a squeezing pain too. it started one morning i woke up with one of my arms numb...i shook it off and then i felt the blood circulate through my arm it felt very weird. it still is happening and it happens alot, sometimes i will be sitting down, i will stand up and feel my blood circulate through my legs, hips, and arms. it is a very weird feeling and doesnt feel like the normal feeling when you lay on your arms weird and then it gets numb, it is very different. my calf (left) get a squeezing pain in it and sometimes it can really hurt. BUT i went to the doctor, got an echo and stress test and all is normal so i really try not to worry so much, but i have had some weird symptoms for the last 8 months or so and never thought they would be connected and blew them off. i am worried about a brain tumor. but i was wondering what is up with these numbing feelings, and when i can feel the blood go through my body?

Hi, Just a guess, but I know anemia can cause this sort of thing. The blood system may not be making enough red blood cells and may not be passing enough oxygen around your body. This can affect the nerve endings and produce numbness or tingling.
There are various anemias - the most common ones are due to iron or vitamin B12 deficiencies. Extreme diets can cause anemia, and some cases people just don't seem to absorb these essential elements very effectively. The iron deficiency is more common in women due to blood loss through periods.
Also, I wondered if your blood pressure is sometimes very low.
