I have been having problems with my stomach hurting very bad for the past two months. It starts where my pancreas is located with symptoms of nausea, light headness, diarehia. these are the same symptoms that I had a few years ago when they took out my gall bladder and I had pancreatitis. Now the pain is back like a terrible upper stomachache. And when I eat or drink anything the pain kicks in about an hour or so later and radiates to my back. I have been to the emergency room six times, the GI doctors, and put in the hospital for five days and no one can tell me what is happening to me. I have been given about six different diagnosis, from gastritis to having a worm in my body. Can someone please help becausing I am losing hope here.

do they think it is pancreatitis again? what about sphincter of oddi or a bile duct spasm? I ask because i have pains also and had my gall bladder removed in March (part of my story is under 'now what'). i was in the er the other night with severe pain and they said they believe it is a bile duct spasm or something of that nature because sometimes people get them after having their gall bladder out. i hope they figure it out and you feel better soon!
