I was wondering has anyone had any luck with this product. I have had irritable bowel on and off for at least two years . i take Caltrate 600 plus and that seems to help, plus i take immodium AD if i am going out to eat..that all seems to help pretty much.Someone told me to eat Activia yogurt every day and that was suppose help with the bacteria in the intestines...I started that but it doesn't seem to make me feel very good. So now i am thinking about trying Digestive Advantage IBS, but before i do i want to see what you all have to say about it.

I have used the Digestive Advantage for a little over a month & I have noticed it has helped me out. I don't feel as bloated and my diarrhea seems to have eased up a bit.
Good luck with it. It is definitely worth trying out. It is quite inexpensive too. A month supply (if you take one tablet a day) is only about $12.

I tried it too. Nothing. I also showed it to my doctor to see if it was safe to take. She laughed and asked if I paid too much for it as it has the same ingredients as YOGURT. Don't waste your money. Yogurt is cheaper.

thanks for the advise. I will not waste my money on it. On friday i went to the pharmacy and asked them about it and they didn't think it helped much with ibs, so i never bought any.. so i guess i saved myself 10.00

I'm constantly experimenting with diarrhea remedies for my IBS-D - I also have a colostomy which is not a good combination! Imodium causes my small bowel to stop working completely, wheat bran also plugs me up and sends me to ER with a blockage, yogurt helps reduce the odour as does chlorophyll tablets and calcium does nothing. My most recent experiment is with apple pectin tablets as eating applesauce and foods with pectin or gelatin have been helpful (but aren't the most convenient when traveling). I've started off with one in the morning and I do get a noticeable thickening effect. I'm going to try a second one later in the day this week to see if I get even more relief. The best dietary change to make is to avoid processed sugar - for me too much sugar increases gas and diarrhea. Has anyone else tried pectin?
