Anyone experience diarrhea with anxiety? I've been under a great deal of stress the past 2 weeks then suddenly 2 days ago I had soft stool. Today and yesterday it's been diarrhea--very watery with undigested food in it. I am wondering if this could be from anxiety.

It can be alot of things and stress is definetly one of the major causes. Inceased episodes of stresss will bring about IBS. That is what I am learning. It is a matter of elimination in order to find out what it is, but you may never know what causes it. I Have to give stool and blood samples, than a colonoscopy if nothing is found with the first two...good luck.

I've also noticed a correlation between anxiety and diarrhea... this happens to me especially when nervous about something.

Hi there i glad i just came across your post because ive been suffering with anxiety for 6 weeks now but for the past three, ive had constant diarrhea. Not even one solid stool. Three doctors have told me its stress and a stool test came back normal but im still worring.

Same here. I had it for 2 months straight with only one day of a normal BM. I must stay stressed:rolleyes:

Stress and anxiety do it for me too. Had a rough few weeks earlier this summer, on top of a rough few months before that, and my BMs have run the gamut of textures and varieties.
