There are autonomic seizures which may involve a fast heart rate. You could also have a different disorder (I have this as well as seizures) which causes fluctuations in heart rate, and I've often wondered if they trigger seizures since they happen very closely together. Medication has helped.

Autonomic seizures involve the involuntary processes in the body- blood pressure, sweating, heart rate, sphinchter control, goose bumps, etc..but they don't last all the time.

If your heart rate is that high all the time, and at sleep, you need to let your doc know.....do you drink enough fluids? Dehydration can increase heart rate. And it's been HOT all over the place. :blob_fire

I'm not sure if this is an answer to your question or not, but I notice that sometimes when I get a fast pulse that is usually worked up by something that is going on I am more apt to a seziure.

Things that may bring on a fast pulse are if I get worked up over something, I get upset or angry. Things along that line will do it for me. The family tries to get me to calm down before something will happen.

I Drink Gallons. I Used To Get Stressed Very Easily But Know That Being Epileptic And Have A Fast Pulse Really Does You No Good,so I Don't Get Streesed Over The Silly Stuff Antmore. The Cost Is Too High. I'm Going For A Cardiac Tredmill Test Today At 3.30 English Time. They Told Me On An Ecg That I Was Tacacardic Which I Think Means That I Have A Fast Heart Rate But I Don't Know Anymore Than That At The Moment. But Am Feeling A Little Scared At The Min As I Seem To Be Deteriorating Rapidly With Most Of My Health And Just Wondered If Anyone Out There Can Tell Me If They Have Gone Through The Same Thing .
