I am 22 years old, and have been getting my period since I was 12. It was always heavy and HORRIBLY crampy. However these past few years they have been getting heavier(or so it seems) and I am noticing more clots(the cramps are ify too sometimes they are ok sometimes they are worse). Sometimes the clots are very very big. I am on the patch and have tried several other birth control methods, none of them help with the cramping or the heaviness and none of them seem to help or make the clotting any worse. Should I be worried about the clots or just write it off as normal? Also does anyone have any suggestions about how to lessen the cramping? Meydol doesn't help and neither does taking advil during my period every 6 hours(my doctors suggestion).
