I just got wisdom out today(boo) and I had to premedicate for my Mitralvalve Prolapse. I took four one hour before the appointment, like I always do for dentist appointments and the anesthesiologist said that was all she was worried about. What I'm cofused over is the fact that there are 40 pills in the bottle.

My prescription says to "take 1 capsule by mouth four times daily." I've taken 4 today, all at 7.30 AM EST. Should I take some more tonight? I assume I should take more over the next few days (4 spread out over the course of one day, each day until I run out).

Am I understanding this right?

Thanks.

That must be a misprint on the bottle. I just had a wisdom tooth out three weeks ago myself:mad: I took four pills prior to the procedure as I always do. I used to have a big bottle of the amoxy but this time my cardio wrote it for four pill with refills. That' probably better because the medicine can go bad and hopfully you don't have four dental cleanings in your near future.
